SUMMARY
Stems short, spirally annulated.
Hydrothecae long, narrow, walls parallel, a very strong S-shaped fold about halfway along thecal wall. Margin with 6-7 teeth, each with several reduplications. Embayments between teeth wider than the teeth themselves.
Gonotheca borne on the hydrorhiza beside a hydrotheca, large, lenticular, flattened to the substrate, pedicel very short, curved. Perisarc of gonotheca thick, smooth to slightly undulated, widest about proximal third to mid-region, aperture distal, wide, oval, closed by perisarc.
