Hydrorhiza tubular, flanged. Pedicels arising at intervals from the hydrorhiza, simple, erect, smooth to strongly annulated, distal spherule smaller in diameter than the supporting shoulder of the pedicel.
Hydrotheca campanulate, circular in section, widening to margin, length:width ratio approximately 1:1.2. Margin with 10 - 12 teeth, cusps rounded, the incisions between almost the same shape as the tooth.
Hydranth with 16 - 20 tentacles.
