SUMMARY
Hydrorhiza tubular, creeping on stem of hydroid such as Gymnangium longicorne, stolons running parallel along fascicular tubes of host.
Hydrothecal pedicels long, deeply and roughly corrugated, perisarc very thick, merging into body of hydrotheca. Hydrotheca large, deeply campanulate, asymmetrical, lower third of one wall convex, body then becoming almost tubiform, walls smooth to slightly undulated, perisarc moderately thick, thinning towards margin. Diaphragm shallow dish-shaped, indistinct, marked by a granular thickening at base of hydrotheca. Margin oblique with a large, strongly outrolled rim, perisarc of rim thin, some margins with a single replication.
Hydranths with approx. 25 tentacles.
