SUMMARY
There is wide variation in size of the stem internodes, position of the hydrocladial apophyses, width of the nematothecal pedicels and length of the terminal spine. Those hydrothecae with more pronounced terminal spines are always larger and more robust in appearance than those with the shorter spines.
